Mediation Enquiry

Pre Mediation Intake Session

Australian Independent Mediation Services Enquiry

Disputes can occur between couples, families, in the workplace or in the community. Independent mediation provides an effective, affordable and fast resolution to issues. The  alternatives  to  private  mediation  can  be  very  expensive legal  costs,  lengthy  court  processes,  or  long  delays  waiting  for  public  mediation  services.  Make an enquiry with  Australian Independent  Mediation  Services  to decide if mediation is right for your situation.

Pre Mediation Intake Session

Pre Mediation Intake Session

The mediation process starts with confidential separate pre mediation intake sessions with both parties. We will ask you about the details of your dispute and what you’d like to achieve. We determine if there are any issues unsuitable for mediation or if any legal or  cultural  requirements need to be met. As part of the process to continue you will be asked to sign an agreement to our terms and conditions and will be provided with an information and costs pack.

Mediation Sessions

Family Dispute Resolution

Mediation differs for all parties and issues and there is no set time frame to results. Once parties have completed  pre mediation sessions and signed  agreements  the  mediation  process  begins  at  a  predetermined  time  and  location.  Generally sessions take between  2-4  hours. In  some  instances  multiple  sessions  will  be  required  to  address  all  issues  in  order  to  come  to  satisfactory  resolution.  Agreements  will be  drafted  if  required.

Family Dispute Resolution

Family Dispute Resolution

Separation and divorce effect all families in different ways but it doesn’t have to result in high conflict or long  expensive legal battles. Australian  Independent  Mediation  Services guides  families  through  the  process  of

Family  Dispute  Resolution,  required  by  The  Family Court  of Australia   before it  accepts  any  application  for  orders.

A registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP)  is required to issue a 60i certificate for any application for Family Court orders.

Business  and  organisations  rely on  good  working  relationships  to  be  successful.  When  circumstances  between partners,  employers  or employees  deteriorate  the  result  can  be  crippling  both in  productivity  and  financially.  From  workplace  interventions  in  bullying  and  harassment,  disputes in  contractual  agreements,  financial  dispersements  and  in  matters  of liability  for  injury  or  damages  we  can  assist  in  mediating  a  just  outcome outside  the  court  system.

Community  Conciliation  is  an  option  when  disputes  between  neighbours,  associations,  and  members  of  the  community  outside of  our  family  and  workplace  arise.  The  mediation  process  is  similar  to  other  areas   with  enquiry,  premediation intake  sessions  and  then  mediation to  an  agreed  outcome  and  plan.  In  many  instances  thi s process  provides  a  more  mutually  beneficial  outcome  in  circumstances where  the  parties  continue  to  reside  next  to  or  collaborate  with  each  other.
